Western Union Financial Services, Inc, 12500 E Belford Ave., Englewood, CO, USA, Western Union Payment Services Ireland Limited (WUPSIL) and
Western Union International Limited, both Unit 9, Richview Business Park, Clonskeagh, Dublin 14, Ireland, and Western Union International Bank GmbH, Schubertring 11, 1010, Vienna, Austria (collectively, Western Union) respect your privacy. The entity responsible for the collection and processing of your personal information is the Western Union entity with which you have a direct relationship.
Information we collect about you: If you are a Western Union Agent (Agent), you can benefit from some services we offer to you. Upon registration, we will ask you to provide to us your first name, last name, business address, email address and telephone number, country, your manager in the EU and other business information (e.g. company name, address, city, postal code, phone number, business type, number of agent’s stores). In addition, some of our forms may collect further information such as user type, company ID, Network Agent Name, Network Agent ID, business ID, Network Agent’s Account Number with Western Union, operator ID, Western Union contact name and language preference. You may provide the information online through registering on our AgentPortaI or offline. When you register on our AgentPortal online, we will also collect the log-in details you use to access the AgentPortal.
How we use the information: We collect personal information about you for legitimate business purposes, in particular, to manage our relationship with you, to offer you services and to transmit personal information within Western Union for administrative purposes. In particular, we use the personal information that you provide to allow you to interact with Western Union, manage your locations and operators and access certain self-serve tools we offer to our Agents such as training materials, reporting tools, product and service updates or the latest fraud and compliance information. You may also use the AgentPortal to temporarily raise or lower your daily credit limits. When required by applicable law, we will share with the competent regulatory authority business records that may include personal information about our Agents. In addition, when you use our AgentPortal, we use your log-in details to verify your credentials as a Western Union Agent.
Retenöon of your information: Western Union will hold your personal information for as long as is necessary to properly fulfil its regulatory and legal obligations and business needs. As a general rule, we will hold your data for the length of time you are an agent of Western Union plus an additional ten years, unless otherwise provided by applicable law.
Disclosure of your information: Your information will be transferred to other companies within the Western Union group of companies and to authorised IT service providers, as well as regulators and government authorities for any of the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice.
International transfer: If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we transfer your information to third parties in countries outside the EEA, including but not limited to the USA, as required by applicable law, regulatory authorities, law enforcement and government agencies. We transfer certain personal information about you to our data centres in the USA and process it to fulfil our legal and compliance obligations as described above. When your personal information is transferred outside the EEA to a country for which the European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision, it will be protected by appropriate contractual clauses or other EU-approved mechanisms, as required by law, which can be made available upon request.
Your rights: You have the right to know if we are processing your personal information and to ask us for a copy of your information free of charge. We may charge you a reasonable fee for providing the information, or not act upon your request, if the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. When we receive a request, we may ask for additional information from you to verify your identity. Where technically feasible, we will help you export the personal information we process about you based on a contact with you or your consent and transmit it to another cqmpany. You have the right to ask us to correct information about you that is incomplete, inaccurate or out-of-date. You have the right to ask us t&eras? certain information about you, to restrict certain uses of your information and also to object to certain uses of it according to applicable EU and member state law, and subject to our compliance obligations. Where you have consented to the processing of your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your prior consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, please contact your Western Union representative. We will endeavour to respond to your request within one month but may be entitled to extend this period in certain circumstances. We will comply with your request to the extent required by applicable law.
If you have a complaint about how Western Union has responded to your request under this section or about how we handle your personal information, we ask that you put the complaint in writing. We will investigate your complaint and generally respond to you in writing within 30 days of receipt. You can also contact our Data Protection Officer at email@example.com. If you are not satisfied with our responses, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country about our processing of your personal information.

We use third party analytics cookies to create reports and statistics on the performance of our AgentPortal. Analytics cookies collect information such as your IP address, type of device, operating system, referring URLs, country information, date and time of page visits, and pages visited. The information allows us to count our audience size and see the overall patterns of usage on our AgentPortal.
